About Children 1st C.D.S

Children 1st Community Development Services, Inc is a 501c3 human service agency that is dedicated to providing programs and support services to at risk children and youth in the United States and Africa.

Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment for At-Risk Children and Youth. 

Vision

Our Vision is to  witness children and adolescents learn, grow, and develop into contributing and thriving citizens. We envision a community that produces proactive youth who are able to utilize the tools, skills and resources to succeed. 

Purpose

Our purpose is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth from ages 0 to 21, of any race, ethnicity, economic status, religion, gender or residential situation.  

Children 1st is dedicated to supporting:

  • Economically disadvantaged families

  • At Risk populations

  • Pregnant woman

  • Children and youth (0-21)

  • Children/youth with mental health, developmental disabilities and behavioral issues

  • Children referred by DFCSJuvenile Justice and similar institutions

  • Orphanages both in the United States and Africa
